About the Role
Aspiriant is seeking a Senior Associate for its Planning Strategy & Research (PS&R) group, a central hub for wealth planning innovation and client experience. This nationwide role supports advisors by designing and evolving the firm's wealth planning platform, developing tools and insights to ensure consistent, high-quality client experiences. It is a non-client-facing position focused on enhancing firm operations and delivering scalable planning approaches.
Responsibilities
- Drive wealth planning innovation and insight by monitoring trends and translating them into actionable guidance.
- Contribute subject matter expertise to develop scalable planning approaches across various financial planning areas.
- Build tools, processes, and intellectual capital by designing and refining advisor-facing materials.
- Strengthen wealth planning services by improving processes, enhancing usability, and increasing consistency.
- Balance standardization with flexibility to ensure high-quality and personalized advice.
- Enable and help advisors by developing a deep consideration of their workflows and challenges.
- Serve as a trusted internal partner, offering guidance and support to elevate planning quality.
- Partner with Learning & Development to design and deliver training for advisors.
- Collaborate across the firm to enhance the client experience by evolving platform and processes.
- Contribute to firm-wide initiatives that improve client support through everyday planning and complex life events.
- Create content and extend the firm’s voice by developing client-facing and internal materials.
- Partner with Marketing to ensure alignment with the firm’s brand and strategic priorities.
- Represent the firm externally where appropriate, contributing to its reputation as a thought leader.

- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, finance, economics, tax, or financial planning.
- CFP® designation required.
- Three or more years of experience in a wealth management firm serving high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients.
- Experience contributing to a wealth management committee within an RIA is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with financial planning tools such as eMoney.
- Demonstrated experience across the full financial planning process.
- Strong analytical capabilities and sound professional judgment.
- Excellent personal and professional references.
- Ability to learn and memorize tasks, execute tasks independently, and apply knowledge and judgment to manage situations.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions, including substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and fingers for computer keyboard operation.
- Ability to use near visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing documents, operating a computer, and reading.
- Ability to speak and hear to communicate with team members and clients by phone and in-person.
- Must disclose securities holdings and transactions, and adhere to trading restrictions as a Registered Investment Adviser.
