About the Role

CBCity is seeking enthusiastic and qualified Pool Lifeguards on a casual basis to supervise aquatic areas, support customer safety, respond to incidents, and create a positive experience across their aquatic facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise pool areas safely and attentively in line with supervision plans and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service to visitors, families and patrons.
  • Enforce water safety rules, including the “Keep Watch @ Public Pools” program.
  • Respond to emergencies, incidents and first aid situations.
  • Support a clean, safe and welcoming aquatic centre environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the Leisure and Aquatic Services team.

Requirements

  • Current RLSSA Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
  • Current First Aid certificate.
  • Current CPR certificate.
  • Current Working with Children Check, if you are 18 years or over.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Evidence of full unrestricted working rights in Australia.
  • Applicants must hold Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or possess a valid work permit/visa with full unrestricted working rights to be eligible.

Salary/Compensations

  • $39.23 per hour, including casual loading, plus AWCA 1 allowance and 12% super.
