About the Role
Customer Service Attendants are responsible for greeting guests, observing and assisting with parking, admission, and locker rental processes. This is a seasonal position from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
Responsibilities
- Giving guests clear directions to a designated parking space.
- Assisting and guiding guest vehicles to their assigned parking spot safely and in a timely manner.
- Checking all proper documentation needed to gain entry into the facility.
- Assisting and escorting guests through the main gate and to any designated areas.
- Monitoring the park exit, providing hand stamps for guests exiting temporarily, and ensuring children do not exit without a parent or guardian.
- Ensuring guests meet guidelines for re-admittance after exiting temporarily.
- Providing guidance to guests through the entire rental process at the kiosk.
- Providing information about locker wristbands and assigned locker locations.
- Servicing locker kiosks and locker scanning ports, and replenishing locker wristbands.
- Performing basic trouble-shooting actions such as locker door jams, wristband scanning errors, lost wristbands, and wristband printing jams.
- Documenting and informing management of all locker rental errors.
- Performing routine trash clean up of locker rental areas, changing room stations, the boardwalk, designated seating areas, parking lots, and all trash/recycle containers.
- Responding to all guest needs or complaints while maintaining the highest level of respect and professionalism.
- Assisting in other areas of park operations such as Bag Check Security, Park Appearance, Food & Beverage and Slide Attendants.
- Assisting in maintaining park cleanliness and ensuring guest safety.
Requirements
- Must be 15 years of age or older.
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Personal drive, action-oriented, quick learner.
- Ability to observe and analyze safety situations and determine appropriate course of action.
- Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced team environment as well as work independently.
- Must possess excellent communication skills, multi-tasking, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Flexible Schedule.
- Must be prepared to work weekends and holidays.
- Department Training and Orientation must be attended prior to starting.
