About the Role
A fast-growing, Y Combinator-backed fintech startup is looking for an entry-level Full Stack Engineer to join its small, high-impact engineering team. The company builds a personal wealth management platform aimed at making investing accessible and approachable for the next generation of retail investors. You'll work directly on core product features — including AI-powered tooling, portfolio management, and educational investing experiences — from day one.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full stack features across web and/or mobile surfaces of a consumer fintech platform
- Collaborate closely with a small, cross-functional team to ship product improvements quickly and iteratively
- Contribute to the development of AI-assisted features, automated investing workflows, and user-facing financial tools
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code across both frontend and backend layers
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning
- Help uphold high standards for security, performance, and reliability in a regulated financial environment
Requirements
- Entry-level candidates welcome — no prior professional experience required; strong portfolio, projects, or academic background will be considered
- Solid understanding of full stack web development fundamentals (frontend frameworks, backend APIs, databases)
- Ability to work on-site in New York, NY
- Eligible to work in the US — visa sponsorship is available
