About the Role

Responsibilities
- Execute receiving and merchandising standards.
- Ensure Associates process merchandise efficiently and effectively.
- Engage with customers to create an excellent customer experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Orchestrate truck delivery and prioritize merchandise processing.
- Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
- Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
- Communicate with the Coordinator on Duty for efficient flow of goods.
- Ensure Associates complete tasks according to the store plan.
- Monitor team productivity and provide coaching.
- Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment.
- Maintain merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
- Uphold organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the backroom.
- Ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs.
- Communicate priorities and progress updates to management and Associates.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Partner with Management on Associate training needs.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Support store shrink reduction goals and programs.
- Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Capable of multi-tasking.
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Able to train others.
- 1 year retail experience.
- 6 months of leadership experience.
