About the Role

The ANZ Medical Information Lead provides leadership and management for the affiliate Medical Information team, driving collaboration with business partners. This role executes scientific objectives within established timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current knowledge of all Lilly products and disease states, developing expertise in specific therapeutic areas.
• Provide technical and medical information to healthcare professionals.
• Ensure SOPs are updated, understood, and lead local implementation.
• Support the development of global SOPs for alignment with local laws and regulations.
• Set up and maintain the Medical Information system at the affiliate level.
• Manage and coordinate the Medical Information Service team.
• Ensure individual training plans include appropriate curricula.
• Provide career development opportunities for medical information specialists.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences, nursing, or other related life sciences.
• Medical information/communication experience, or experience as a medical information specialist is preferred.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to use MS Office.
• Understanding of requirements of Medicines Australia Code of Conduct and Medicines New Zealand Code of Practice, as well as promotional material guidance.

Skills

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong knowledge of Med Info systems
• Demonstrated ability to manage large global organizations
• Project management experience
