About the Role
As part of the Public & Energy Transformation team, you will help organizations fundamentally change their work and operating methods to secure their place in the future. You will advise and support public sector organizations on topics such as digitalization, the energy transition, mobility, or demographic change.
Responsibilities
- Design the IT transformation of energy and utility companies, advising clients from IT strategy and target/solution architectures to successful implementation.
- Develop target and enterprise architectures for energy suppliers, aligning application, data, integration, and technology architectures with future requirements, considering business, regulatory, organizational, and technological factors.
- Accompany complex IT and business transformations from strategy to implementation, structuring architectural decisions, supporting platform, sourcing, and make-or-buy decisions, and developing robust target visions for client IT landscapes.
- Support the implementation of modern cloud, platform, and integration architectures at the interface between business departments, IT, architecture, and technology partners.
- As a Senior Consultant, take responsibility for work packages and sub-projects; as a Manager, lead project teams, develop client relationships, and drive the expansion of our architecture and transformation offerings in the energy industry.
Requirements
- Completed studies in (business) informatics, industrial engineering, STEM, or a comparable field.
- Experience in IT strategy, architecture, or transformation projects with an interest in shaping modern IT landscapes in the energy and utility sector.
- Knowledge in several of the following areas: Enterprise Architecture Management, Cloud Architectures, Platform Strategies, Integration Architectures, API Management, Data Architectures, IT Governance, or Operating Models.
- Experience with modern cloud and platform technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and central enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, Billing, or Data Platforms.
- Ability to structure technical issues and discuss them with architects, IT managers, business departments, and management teams.
- Experience in taking responsibility for architecture workstreams, sub-projects, or teams and actively shaping the expansion of our consulting services.
