About the Role
Splunk, a Cisco company, is building a safer and more resilient digital world with an end-to-end full stack platform made for a hybrid, multi-cloud world. The Deal Management Director (DMD) is responsible for structuring and drafting sales transactions with a focus on transactional health and company guardrails, drafting Order Documents and supporting sales in customer-facing negotiations.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Strategic Deals and act as an expert on Splunk buying programs and metrics.
- Determine deal structure by understanding the impact to ARR/iACV, internal treatment, best possible solutions, and utilization of programs within appropriate guardrails.
- Assist and drive conversations, coordinate related parties, manage next steps, identify gaps, and handle escalations.
- Manage the Order Document process from end to end, negotiate directly with customers, and facilitate internal back-end partners.
- Draft key business language and adhere to internal systems and processes.
- Provide sales training and enablement on deal structure, programs, and related pricing.
- Serve as a trusted partner and advisor to sales leadership.
Requirements
- 4+ years of strategic deal management and/or related experience supporting sales.
- Experience understanding and adhering to programmatic company guardrails.
- Experience collaborating closely with internal resources in a fast-growing software enterprise company.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interface, influence, and work with a wide variety of individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing environment.

Salary/Compensations
- $185,600.00 - $238,200.00 (U.S. and/or Canada)
- $220,100.00 - $333,600.00 (New York City Metro Area)
- $196,400.00 - $303,200.00 (Non-Metro New York state & Washington state)
