About the Role

As a Deal Manager (DM) for the U.S. Public Sector, you will be responsible for structuring and drafting sales transactions with a focus on transactional health, company guardrails, and compliance with governmental purchasing regulations. You will become an expert on Cisco's buying programs, draft Order Documents, and support sales in customer-facing negotiations.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Strategic Deals by understanding the impact to ACV/ARR/iACV, internal treatment, best possible solutions, utilization of programs, within appropriate guardrails.
  • Manage custom agreements from end to end, negotiate directly with customers, facilitate internal back-end partners, draft key business language, and adhere to internal systems and processes.
  • Provide sales training and enablement of deal structure, programs, and related pricing, acting as a trusted partner and advisor to sales leadership.
  • Assist and drive conversations, coordinate related parties, next steps, gaps, and escalations.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of strategic deal management experience supporting sales.
  • Understanding and adherence to programmatic company guardrails.
  • Collaboration with internal resources in a fast-growing software enterprise company.
  • Strong background in Public Sector business with an understanding of Government procurement processes, Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWAC), and Government budgeting is highly desirable.
  • Extremely articulate with demonstrated ability to interface, influence, and work with a wide variety of individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing environment.
  • Flexibility to support business needs outside of standard working hours.

Salary/Compensations

  • $196,400.00 - $255,100.00 (U.S. and/or Canada)
  • $220,100.00 - $333,600.00 (New York City Metro Area)
  • $196,400.00 - $303,200.00 (Non-Metro New York state & Washington state)
