About the Role

Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all customers. Responsible for the nighttime operation of the store in the absence of the Night Manager, overseeing clerks and ensuring proper inventory levels and merchandising standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation.
• Oversee the entire Third Shift store operation two to three nights a week.
• Ensure proper stock levels, product blocking, and 'out of stock' sign placement.
• Assist in scheduling Night Crew Associates.
• Manage Front End and Office operations, including check approvals and nightly resets.
• Assist with ordering merchandise and supplies for the Grocery department.
• Store excess product in the Back Room or designated area.
• Maintain proper merchandising standards, including shelf allocation and sale items.
• Assist with hiring, training, and development of new Night Crew Associates.
• Handle discipline or recommend discipline for Night Crew Associates.
• Ensure refrigeration and security procedures during Third Shift.
• Unload Warehouse and DSD merchandise deliveries.
• Evaluate the performance and progress of Store Associates.
• Ensure Third Shift grocery crew productivity meets standards.
• Implement and maintain corporate and state sanitation and pricing procedures.
• Protect company inventory and assets.
• Control shrink through adherence to policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives.
