About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent Graduate or Junior Software Engineer to join our close-knit AGV Customer Service team, supporting, maintaining, developing, and upgrading critical Warehouse Control System software that supports operations across the APAC region. You will learn from technical experts and gain valuable experience in condition monitoring, breakdown support, software development, and system improvements.
Responsibilities
- Supporting, maintaining, developing, and upgrading critical Warehouse Control System software
- Assisting and working with senior Engineers with condition monitoring
- Assisting and working with senior Engineers with breakdown support
- Assisting and working with senior Engineers with software development
- Assisting and working with senior Engineers in the implementation of upgrades and system improvements
- Resolving complicated issues in a customer-facing role
Requirements
- Provide University Academic Transcript
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Interest in logistics automation
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivation, effective teamwork and ability to self-manage when working remotely
Skills
- C# (.NET Framework)
- WPF (ideally using MVVM)
- SQL (SQL Server preferred)
- Entity Framework or other ORM
- WCF/Web services
- Azure DevOps (Git, Pipelines, Pull Requests)
- Build automation
- Exposure to OPC/PLCs
- Mission critical, real-time software experience
- Exposure to warehousing and logistics concepts
