About the Role

The Logistics Coordinator is part of the Logistics Management team within Cryoport’s Customer Service department. This role is responsible for monitoring shipments, escalating issues, assisting with special projects, and managing communications with clients and carriers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor exceptions of live shipments through Cryoport’s web portal and e-mail notifications
• Escalate exceptions internally to Logistics Managers
• Answer and route client and carrier communications internally
• Communicate externally with carriers and clients throughout shipment
• Follow up with written and verbal communication
• Manage inbound calls and redirect to appropriate parties
• Onboard new clients
• Perform order entry and order approvals
• Interact regularly with internal departments such as Operations, Accounting, Management, and Sales
• Perform administrative tasks such as data entry
• Assume other duties as assigned
• Work after hours and/or weekend shifts if needed

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook
• 2+ years of General Logistics management & Customer Service preferred
