About the Role
As a 705 Captain, you will transport thousands of passengers each year, prioritizing flight safety, passenger comfort, and on-time performance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct flights with strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, Canadian Aviation Regulations, Aircraft Flight Manual, and Company Operations Manual.
- Check weather, NOTAMs, and determine fuel and oil requirements.
- Calculate airplane weight and balance.
- Review, amend, and accept the Operational Flight Plan.
- Complete an airplane pre-flight inspection before each departure.
- Load, unload, and secure cargo/freight as required.
- Complete flight watch jointly with the flight dispatcher.
- Complete all post-flight duties, including company notification of aircraft whereabouts, recording flight times, and noting defects.
- Continue to meet and exceed Transport Canada Qualification standards for a Pilot.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
