About the Role
BTY's Infrastructure Advisory Team provides technical advisory services to a diverse client base on Infrastructure projects throughout all phases of an asset's lifecycle. The Project Consultant will support reporting by reviewing commercial contracts, consortium capabilities, regulatory approvals, environmental and geotechnical conditions, construction schedules, pricing, facility maintenance, and lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Assist on 5-10 projects with regular supervision.
- Prepare pre-bid and pre-financial close technical advisory reports.
- Support the preparation of Realistic Outside Costs Analysis and Reasonable Downside Analysis.
- Attend and partake in multidisciplinary Project kick-off meetings for pre-bid services.
- Attend and partake in lenders and rating agency calls.
- Complete site inspections and reports including photographs in support of construction period services.
- Undertake project research and database entry.
- Attend meetings and take notes.
- Work closely with senior team members to determine project changes.
- Undertake project tasks and provide administrative support.
- Be aware of market intelligence and market rates for construction, procurement routes, and contracts.
- Occasionally network promoting the business, cross-selling, building new contacts, and enhancing client relationships.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- Good analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with good organizational, communication and report writing skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and ability to work to own initiatives.
- Demonstrates attention to detail to produce quality work with good time management.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
- Eligible to work in Canada or pursuing a work permit.
