About the Role
Responsible for performing general maintenance and cleaning duties, ensuring high standards of safety and sanitation for members and team members. This role involves gathering carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to ensure easy access for members.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning duties.
- Maintain high standards of safety and sanitation.
- Gather and return carts and flatbeds from the parking lot.
- Ensure carts are well-stocked at the club entrance.
- Verify carts are in working order and clean, removing unsuitable ones.
- Return new and unused merchandise to the sales floor.
- Perform maintenance and cleaning duties including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, carpet extracting, washing glass, emptying trash, and pulling pallets.
- Maintain outdoor grounds including cart corrals, sidewalks, and outdoor trash receptacles.
- Prioritize maintenance and cleaning responsibilities efficiently.
- Operate floor scrubber, trash compactor, and cardboard baler machines safely.
- Restock maintenance and cleaning supplies.
- Perform minor and routine building repairs and notify management of major repairs.
- Maintain club policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
- Ensure regular, predictable, full attendance.
Requirements
- Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
- May be less than 18 years of age to perform parking lot cart functions.
- Must be over 18 to operate equipment and enter age-restricted areas.
