About the Role

Responsibilities
- Engage children in learning through play and positive experiences.
- Encourage children's curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
- Collaborate effectively with teammates.
- Communicate effectively with families.
- Provide exceptional care to children.
- Ensure children are engaged, safe, and having fun.
- Maintain program quality aligned with Healthy Kids Program's model.
- Ensure the site is fully staffed and teachers are prepared and supported.
- Operate in ratio at all times.
- Maintain accurate and current records.
- Ensure the site is well-stocked with necessary supplies and materials.
- Restock supplies before they run out.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field.
- Child Development Associate Credential or another Office-recognized credential specific to the preschool developmental period (with 1 year of experience).
- 9 Credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field with a plan of study leading to Associates or other Office recognized credential (with 2 years of experience).
- Must be medically cleared to perform all job duties and free of communicable diseases, including tuberculosis (TB).
- Demonstrates a positive, friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with children, parents, and team members.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional in conduct and appearance.
- Able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds, and meet the physical demands of working with children.

Salary/Compensations
- $18.00 per hour
