About the Role

Healthy Kids Programs is seeking a School Age Childcare Site Supervisor for our After School Program at Lee F. Jackson Elementary School in White Plains, NY, for the 2026-2027 school year. This role is ideal for individuals who love working with children and are passionate about supporting student growth in a mission-driven team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure children are engaged, safe, and having fun.
  • Maintain program quality reflecting Healthy Kids Program’s model.
  • Ensure the site is fully staffed daily with prepared and supported teachers.
  • Operate the site in ratio at all times.
  • Maintain accurate and current records.
  • Ensure the program is ready for inspection.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and materials.
  • Restock supplies before they run out.

Requirements

  • Must meet one of the following qualification options:
  • A high school diploma or its equivalent; and two years of direct experience working with children under 13 years of age.
  • A School-age Child Care Credential or other Office recognized credential specific to the school-age developmental period, and one year of experience working with children less than 13 years of age.
  • Associate’s degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field.
  • Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checks.
  • Must be medically fit to perform job duties which includes a clear TB.
  • Warm, friendly, professional, and reliable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.

Work Type

  • Follows the school calendar
  • Afternoon Program: 3:00 - 6:00 pm

Experience Level

  • Two years of direct experience working with children under 13 years of age (with HS diploma)
  • One year of experience working with children less than 13 years of age (with credential)

Education Level

Salary/Compensations

  • $17.00 per hour
