About the Role
DXC Managed Cyber Services (MCS) is seeking to enhance the Security Engineering Team within the Secured Infrastructure capacity to deliver security services at the highest standard for customers in the Australia and New Zealand market. This role involves the onboarding, management, and troubleshooting of cybersecurity services, assisting with high-priority incidents, and ensuring security services meet industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the onboarding, management, and troubleshooting of cybersecurity services.
- Assist in high-priority incidents including both infrastructure and security-related.
- Ensure security services meet or exceed industry best practices, including policies, configuration, and compliance.
- Fulfill daily operational tasks to ensure managed services meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Actively identify opportunities to automate repetitive administrative tasks.
- Implement and execute tasks to fulfill project requirements.
- Keep up-to-date with security technologies, trends, and emerging AI-driven security tools.
- Liaise with vendors and their technical support/engineering teams for advanced-level support.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in IT/OT security operations for medium and/or large enterprises.
- Experience and good knowledge in implementation and/or managing and troubleshooting Fortinet NGFW.
- Experience and good knowledge in implementation and/or managing and troubleshooting NetSkope SASE/SSE.
- Experience working in a cloud environment, including Amazon Web Services/Microsoft Azure.
- Experience in high-priority incident response.
- Holder of relevant industry/vendor certifications such as Fortinet NSE and/or NetSkope Accreditation.
- Understanding of the OSI Layer model from TCP/IP to application level.
- Ability to troubleshoot and run analysis.
- Strong team player with a can-do attitude who works well collaboratively.
- Proficiency with high-level programming or scripting languages (such as Python or PowerShell) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of deploying and managing network security controls using IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is highly desirable.
- Experience utilizing RESTful APIs to automate firewall rule provisioning, policy management, and reporting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with leveraging AI technologies (e.g., AI-assisted scripting tools, automated threat intelligence, or AI-driven SIEM analytics) is highly desirable.
- Must be an Australian Citizen.
- Must be able to gain or currently hold a current National Police Clearance.
- Must be able to gain or currently hold an Australian Federal Government Security Clearance at NV1.
