About the Role
Demonstrate excellence in patient care and clinical practices as a Hemodialysis Medical Surgical Technician. Collaborate with nurses to enhance patient outcomes and provide essential services like phlebotomy, EKG, and vital signs monitoring in an oncology treatment center.
Responsibilities
- Provide phlebotomy, EKG, and vital signs monitoring.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment in the oncology treatment center.
- Collaborate with nurses to improve patient care.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Completion of Nurses' Aide/Medical-Surgical Technician Program.
- Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) from NNCC, BONENT, or NNCO.
- One year of experience in a Renal Treatment Center, acute care dialysis setting, or as a Medical Surgical Technician.
- Must live within a commutable distance to NYP.
