Responsibilities

  • Carry out site inspections, investigations, and feasibility studies for proposed projects.
  • Assist with the collection and analysis of data and field samples.
  • Assist in geotechnical engineering design and preparation of drawings.
  • Support specific projects, including planning, coordination, and report writing.
  • Contribute to proposal and bid development, including preparing proposal material.
  • Complete all work in line with Stantec Core Values and relevant quality, safety, and environmental systems.
  • Minimize and control risk through commitment to Stantec's Health & Safety programs and proactive use of project management systems.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified, ideally in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Technically competent in all relevant fields of Engineering.
  • Passion for learning and problem-solving.
  • Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or NZ Citizen.
  • Currently in the final year of degree or 1-2 years post-graduation.
  • Physically capable of working in remote field environments for extended periods.
  • Australian Driver's License.
