About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Develop designs for the construction, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems for building and built environment projects.
  • Engage with stakeholders including authorities, clients, suppliers, and project team members.
  • Collaborate with architects, structural designers, and other design professionals.
  • Participate in planning and feasibility studies, concept, and detailed design.
  • Undertake site-based investigations and construction phase site visits for a start-to-finish experience.
  • Assess existing installations and systems for compliance and upgrades.
  • Create drawings and schematics using REVIT, 3D modelling, and BIM software.
  • Perform calculations to analyze and design electrical system components.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Passion for learning and problem-solving
  • Australian Citizen, PR, or NZ Citizen
  • Currently in final year of degree or 1-2 years post-graduation
