About the Role
Ode is Anthropic's services venture, tackling challenging AI problems and bringing frontier AI into practice. As a member of the talent team, you will play a critical role in identifying and closing exceptional talent, with a primary focus on engineering hiring, to make Ode the best place to learn applied AI.
Responsibilities
- Source exceptional talent, with a primary focus on engineering hiring.
- Own the candidate experience end-to-end, from first touch through close.
- Build trust, understand candidate motivations, and ensure a high-signal, high-quality process.
- Build on a high-performing recruiting process and help evolve it.
- Bring new ideas and use data, AI, and experimentation to refine talent evaluation and closing.
Requirements
- Track record of hiring top talent, including founding engineers or staff/principal engineers in early-stage or high-growth environments.
- Strong judgment and empathy to build trust quickly with candidates and hiring teams.
- Data-driven and experimental mindset to improve sourcing, evaluation, and closing processes.
- Technical fluency to credibly assess how candidates map to team needs.
- High ownership with a bias for leverage, operating with precision and follow-through.
- Look for ways to scale impact through tooling, automation, and AI.
