About the Role
As an Associate Principal, you will be the engine of our AI strategic advisory work, partnering with Principals to set companies' AI transformation agendas, and assessing value-creation opportunities and disruption risk across industries in diligence. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure to businesses and build pattern recognition in AI transformation.
Responsibilities
- Drive AI strategic advisory engagements end-to-end, setting a company's transformation agenda or running diligence on an asset.
- Support live deals and the selling motion by joining discovery calls, shaping proposals, and managing client relationships.
- Build durable relationships with executives and investors through engagements and deal support.
- Act as a high-utility player by contributing to adjacent streams such as partnership development, thought leadership, or internal tooling and process improvement.
Requirements
- High ownership and comfort with ambiguity; ability to drive work forward independently.
- Learning agility and analytical horsepower to quickly understand unfamiliar industries and form defensible points of view.
- Crisp communication skills, both written and verbal, to translate technical AI concepts into business language.
- Relationship-building instinct and enjoyment of client-facing work.
- AI-native with a working understanding of generative AI capabilities and limitations.
- Low ego and high resourcefulness, functioning as both a doer and a strategist.
