About the Role

This role is for a collaborative leader with strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The individual will plan and coordinate daily maintenance activities, support continuous improvement, develop team members, and partner with production to minimize downtime while maintaining a safe workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and develop a team of maintenance mechanics and electricians.
  • Plan, prioritize, and assign daily maintenance work to support production schedules and business objectives.
  • Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation-related equipment issues.
  • Partner closely with Production, Engineering, and other departments to identify and implement equipment and process improvements.
  • Monitor maintenance work quality and ensure repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with all company policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, productivity, cost reduction, and operational excellence.
  • Assist with maintenance planning, inventory management, contractor coordination, and capital improvement projects as needed.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, work orders, and equipment records.
  • Provide ongoing training, performance coaching, and development opportunities for maintenance team members.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
  • Previous experience leading or supervising a team in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial maintenance systems.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferred.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, prioritize multiple projects, and perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Salary/Compensations

  • $64,500 – $80,000 annually
