About the Role

This role bridges delivery, enablement, and strategy within Mercer's Digital Transformation practice, a Workday implementation and innovation partner. The practice transforms clients' businesses using expertise in HCM, Payroll, Finance, data conversion, strategic transformation, and change management.

Responsibilities

Architect and lead delivery of the Core HCM workstream, ensuring adherence to Workday best practices and robust security.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to analyze requirements and design scalable solutions.
Act as a subject matter expert for complex or sensitive client issues.
Maintain accurate project forecasts and monitor delivery progress.
Communicate timelines, risks, and expectations to stakeholders.
Collaborate cross-functionally with other domain leads for seamless delivery.
Develop and deliver thought leadership content and intellectual property.
Contribute as a subject matter expert for sales and delivery, supporting solution architecture, demonstrations, client presentations, and scoping estimates.

Requirements

Active Workday Certification in Workday HCM.
5+ years of experience as a certified Workday consultant.
3+ years as a lead consultant delivering Core HCM at the level of a subject matter expert.
Strong subject matter expertise of Workday architecture, security, and best practices.
Proven ability to successfully navigate client-facing situations and coordinate support resources.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
