About the Role

This position is responsible for the leadership to develop, organize, administer, and evaluate Capital Metro’s real estate portfolio and right-of-way programs. The Director will ensure optimum efficiency and effectiveness in the oversight of real estate property and right-of-way resources to achieve Capital Metro’s goals and objectives. This role serves as an advisor to the CEO/President, Senior Executive Team, and other management staff on real estate and right-of-way matters.

Responsibilities

Develop, organize, administer, and evaluate the Capital Metro’s real estate portfolio and right-of-way programs.
Ensure optimum efficiency and effectiveness in the oversight of real estate property and right-of-way resources.
Serve as an advisor to the CEO/President, Senior Executive Team, and other management staff on real estate and right-of-way matters.
Perform specialized and technical work requiring thorough knowledge of City, County, State and Federal real estate laws, regulations, best practices recommendations, and transit policies and procedures.
Exercise initiative and judgment to determine appropriate solutions to real estate and right-of-way issues.
