About the Role

This position is responsible for the leadership to develop, organize, administer, and evaluate Capital Metro’s real estate portfolio and right-of-way programs. The Director will ensure optimum efficiency and effectiveness in the oversight of real estate property and right-of-way resources to achieve Capital Metro’s goals and objectives. This role serves as an advisor to the CEO/President, Senior Executive Team, and other management staff on real estate and right-of-way matters.

Responsibilities

• Develop, organize, administer, and evaluate the Capital Metro’s real estate portfolio and right-of-way programs.
• Ensure optimum efficiency and effectiveness in the oversight of real estate property and right-of-way resources.
• Serve as an advisor to the CEO/President, Senior Executive Team, and other management staff on real estate and right-of-way matters.
• Perform specialized and technical work requiring thorough knowledge of City, County, State and Federal real estate laws, regulations, best practices recommendations, and transit policies and procedures.
• Exercise initiative and judgment to determine appropriate solutions to real estate and right-of-way issues.
