About the Role
This role involves providing event security for a corporate convention at the Moscone Center in San Francisco from September 15th to 17th, 2026. The position requires ensuring the safety and security of attendees and property, patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance, and responding to incidents.
Responsibilities
- Patrol premises to ensure safety and security of customers, employees, and property.
- Monitor surveillance footage and respond to security incidents or emergencies.
- Enforce store policies and procedures, including theft and loss prevention.
- Assist with investigations of thefts and other security-related incidents.
- Document and report security-related incidents or emergencies.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience as a security guard or in a related field is preferred.
- Ability to stand for long periods and walk long distances.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with security systems and equipment.
- Must have an ACTIVE BSIS security guard card.
- Must have open availability.
- Must be willing to travel to multiple locations.
