About the Role
Wolverine Trucking is seeking logistics professionals to join our team in Buffalo, NY. This role involves transporting bulk sand to various locations for internal and external customers, ensuring consistent work year-round.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck.
- Haul various bulk sand material.
- Properly track and document activity log.
- Inspect truck before and after trip.
- Report any issues or incidents to operations manager.
Requirements
- Commercial driver's license (Class A) is mandatory.
- Minimum one-year truck driving experience under CDL A license preferred.
- Experience with sand box hauling is preferred.
- Ability to drive tractor-trailer on multiple routes.
- Must be able to perform routine inspection of the vehicle.
- Acceptable drivers abstract.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Strong work ethic.
- Communicate effectively.
- Flexibility to work weekends an asset.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.
