Wolverine Trucking is seeking logistic professionals for part-time, weekend work in Buffalo, NY. This role involves transporting bulk sand to various locations, offering the potential to be constantly busy and home after every shift.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck.
- Haul various bulk sand material.
- Properly track and document activity log.
- Inspect truck before and after trip.
- Report any issues or incidents to operations manager.
Requirements
- Commercial driver's license (Class A) is mandatory.
- Minimum one-year truck driving experience under CDL A license preferred.
- Experience with sand box hauling is preferred.
- Ability to drive tractor-trailer on multiple routes.
- Must be able to perform routine inspection of the vehicle.
- Acceptable drivers abstract.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Strong work ethic.
- Communicate effectively.
- Flexibility to work weekends.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.
