About the Role
We are seeking an Account Manager to elevate our client relations, focusing on the dynamic Quebec market. This role involves managing client, talent, and team relationships, creating distinctive brand identities, and digital strategies to help talents stand out and develop their personal brand. The position blends client relationship management, project oversight, strategic development, and social media expertise. Success requires excellent client communication and organizational skills, along with a passion for the creator economy.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and execute negotiated partnerships for our talents from start to finish, ensuring all contractual terms are met.
- Track performance by evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs) and present comprehensive reports at the end of each partnership, detailing successes, challenges, and key insights to guide future strategies.
- Develop content strategies and concepts, utilizing social media analytics and trends to maintain a high engagement rate and ensure content effectiveness.
- Collaborate with talents and Dulcedo employees during and after collaborations to ensure each talent maintains a consistent and impactful social media presence.
- Actively participate in the talent agency experience by engaging in their onboarding, quarterly planning, and other key activities.
- Assist in the daily management of talents by providing planning support to help them organize their activities and ensure their success.
- Manage incoming PR requests, process interview requests, respond to pitches, and handle event invitations.
- Contribute to outbound strategies, including talent acquisition, pitching interviews, sending gifts, responding to events, and calls for new brands.
- Attend on-site production days and talent events, providing on-the-ground support to ensure successful collaborations.
- Utilize the right tools and information channels to stay updated on industry trends, serving as a valuable resource for the team.
- Upon request, participate in our 'buddy program,' mentoring new Dulcedo employees and sharing best practices.
Requirements
- Approximately 1 year of experience in influencer marketing or public relations, whether in-house, agency, or self-employed.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a natural talent for building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven track record in task management, attention to detail, meeting multiple deadlines, process tracking, and effective multitasking.
- Good understanding of paid media, influencer marketing, and public relations.
- Demonstrated team spirit, with a collaborative approach and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Experience in the presentation process with business development teams and clients is a plus.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field is an asset.
- Solid knowledge of online fashion, beauty, and entertainment communities.
- Knowledge of Quebec creators and the social media landscape in Quebec.
- Knowledge in managing partnerships with influencers/talents and evaluating social media and industry KPIs.
- Strong mediation skills with experience in negotiation, conflict resolution, and expectation management.
- Proven experience in direct communication with talents and corporate clients.
- Initiative, curiosity, and a desire to drive change.
