About the Role

St. John's is seeking a Protective Services Officer to provide safety and protection to residents, visitors, and employees. This role involves responding to emergency and non-emergency calls for service and ensuring the safety of the facility and grounds.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all duties of a Protective Services Officer
  • Performs Patrols of Campus
  • Answer Calls for Service
  • Investigates complaints
  • Respond to medical and fire alarms
  • Prepare Logs and Reports
  • Perform other task as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid NYS driver’s license with ability to meet agency driving standards
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Willingness to embrace and exemplify St. John’s Brand Characteristics
  • Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
