About the Role
Responsible for attraction recovery, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Universal Kids Resort attractions, show, and water play areas. This includes troubleshooting mechanical aspects and systems of attractions, assisting with repairs of animation, special effects, and water elements.
Responsibilities
- Respond to and assist in the recovery and repair of attractions, show effects, and water play areas.
- Troubleshoot down to failed components using schematics, leak detection equipment, vibration analysis, and other specialized tools.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance as prescribed by OEM or engineering team specifications.
- Complete inspections and create necessary work orders for discrepancies.
- Perform repairs to equipment due to safety, reliability, or show quality issues.
- Perform modifications per engineering team, third party, or OEM specifications.
- Enter follow-up work orders for all discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Document all findings and work performed.
- Report on labor in Maximo for all work performed.
- Acquire skills in additional disciplines to support operational and project needs.
- Complete PQS qualification across UKR’s attractions, shows, and water play areas.
- Train new Technicians on venue-specific PM work orders, recovery procedures, and processes.
- Assist with seasonal weather condition sustainment initiatives.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
