About the Role
The Product Manager will serve as the strategic owner of the FinPath online experience, ensuring the platform delivers a seamless, intuitive, and impactful journey for employee participants and employer partners. This role also manages the ecosystem of third-party technology and service partners, driving alignment, accountability, and continuous improvement across all external relationships.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end FinPath digital product roadmap, translating organizational goals and client needs into a prioritized, actionable plan.
- Serve as a key decision-maker for all platform features, user flows, and digital content, ensuring every touchpoint reflects FinPath’s mission and brand standards.
- Gather insights from participants, employer partners, and internal stakeholders to define clear product requirements and user stories.
- Collaborate with UX, design, and engineering teams to deliver intuitive, accessible, and high-quality digital experiences.
- Monitor platform performance through data and analytics; identify trends, friction points, and opportunities to enhance the member experience.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) for all releases, ensuring new features meet quality, compliance, and usability standards before launch.
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, working within agile sprint cycles to keep development aligned with strategic priorities.
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for all FinPath third-party technology, data, and service vendors.
- Support vendor selection processes, including RFP development, due diligence, contract negotiations, and partner onboarding.
- Establish and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and performance benchmarks for all external partners; proactively manage issues and escalations.
- Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, and IT Security teams to ensure all partner agreements and integrations meet organizational standards.
- Oversee partner API integrations and data exchange agreements, partnering with technical teams to ensure reliability, security, and scalability.
- Conduct regular business reviews with partners to assess performance, explore innovation opportunities, and align on roadmap priorities.
- Support contract renewal negotiations, amendments, and new statements of work in collaboration with Procurement and Legal.
- Act as the voice of the FinPath product across the organization, keeping leadership and stakeholders informed on roadmap progress, key decisions, and outcomes.
- Partner with Marketing, Client Success, Coaching, and Operations to support product launches, drive feature adoption, and develop member-facing communications.
- Collaborate with IT Security, Compliance and Risk teams to ensure the FinPath platform meets all applicable regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 4–6 years of product management experience, preferably in financial services, fintech, employee benefits, or a digital-first environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing third-party vendor or partner relationships, including contract and SLA management.
- Strong understanding of agile product development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban); experience as a Product Owner a plus.
- Proficiency with product management and analytics tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar platforms).
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with senior and executive-level partners, both internally and externally.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across multiple channels.
- Ability to travel as needed for partner meetings, client events, or industry conferences.
