About the Role
The Fueler Supervisor oversees the daily operations of aircraft fueling services, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. This role involves managing a team of fuelers, coordinating fueling schedules, monitoring fuel inventory, and maintaining equipment. Responsibilities include training staff, conducting safety inspections, and resolving issues during fueling operations. Strong leadership, communication, and attention to detail are essential for efficient and safe aircraft fueling.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for fuel trucks, fuel farm, tugs, towing equipment, and other related fuel service equipment
- Responsible for supervision of fueling staff
- Safely and efficiently conduct fueling operations
- Maintain accurate records of fueling transactions
- Perform daily quality control inspections on equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality
- Utilize fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and stationary carts to refuel aircrafts
- Ensure accurate loading and balancing of fuel
- Conduct defueling procedures as required
- Exhibit consistent and dependable attendance
- Work outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures and inclement weather
- Responsible for fueling various Ground Service Equipment such as Hydrant Trucks, Fuel Trucks, Tanker Trucks, Tugs, and Belt Loaders
- Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Must have at least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Valid DOT Medical Card or Medical Examiner's Certificate (MCSA-5876)
- Active Hazmat (H), Tanker (N), and Air Brake endorsements
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screening and comply with all DOT regulations
- Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
- Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
- Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
