About the Role

As a Finance Business Intelligence & Systems Leader at PwC, you'll bring expertise across finance systems, data platforms, and product leadership to shape and improve the tools, reporting solutions, and analytical capabilities that drive confident decision-making. You'll partner with senior Finance, technology, and transformation leaders to define roadmaps, modernize systems, and embed AI-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Finance Systems, BI and Performance Tools onshore and offshore team, setting priorities and developing capability to deliver high-quality reporting, analytics and self-service solutions.
  • Shape the product and systems vision across Finance applications, reporting, analytics and data tools.
  • Partner with Finance leaders, product SMEs, Tech Hub to define roadmaps, prioritise investments, oversee delivery and release activities, and maximise value from new and existing capabilities.
  • Support business case development, benefits realisation and change adoption ensuring product and systems priorities align to the firm’s growth, profitability and Finance Transformation objectives.
  • Own the Finance systems landscape, including licences, renewals, AI token usage, lifecycle planning, dependencies, risks and opportunities to rationalise, modernise or retire systems.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks for Finance data, reporting and systems, including user access management, data quality and information security controls.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and change communications so product enhancements, releases and lifecycle decisions are understood and adopted.
  • Provide oversight of technology risk, audit obligations, regulatory requirements and remediation activities across the Finance systems portfolio.
  • Support the broader Finance Transformation agenda by identifying and implementing opportunities to simplify processes, utilise Artificial Intelligence in new ways, improve automation and embed sustainable business outcomes.

Requirements

  • A strong blend of commercial acumen, strategic thinking and technical expertise, with the ability to translate business needs into product strategies, roadmaps and measurable business outcomes.
  • Extensive experience across Finance systems, reporting, analytics and data platforms, with a sound understanding of information security, data governance, user access management and technology risk.
  • Strong leadership capability, with experience leading teams, developing talent, fostering high-performance cultures and driving continuous improvement.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders, build alignment, provide constructive challenge and drive risk-informed decision-making across complex and competing priorities.
  • A customer-focused and value-driven approach to improving processes, simplifying ways of working and maximising value from systems and technology investments.
  • A proactive and delivery-focused mindset, with strong personal accountability and the ability to lead complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
