About the Role

We're looking for a talented Creative Producer to help shape the visual identity of our digital products across local and national brands. In this role, you'll create best-in-class design solutions—from display and video ads to responsive web experiences—that are smart, current, relevant, and purposeful.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with internal teams including sales, marketing, Scripps creative and project management teams, as well as our national and/or local businesses.
• Develop and produce new design solutions and concepts to meet key business and user goals.
• Provide design support and solutions that meet the needs of internal client teams.
• Work closely with local and national businesses including creatives, marketers and business owners.
• Utilize user feedback (qualitative/quantitative) to provide insights and suggestions to optimize existing designs and inform new ones.
• Manage brand standards, updating guidelines and being a watchdog for brand inconsistencies.
• Support other creative needs, including brainstorming, branding, digital comps, and studies.
• Establish best practice for local small business video creative.

Requirements

• BS/BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience
• 1-3 + years of experience in related field preferred

• Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
• Dreamweaver
• HTML5
• CSS
• Responsive digital design tools
• Usability instincts and sense of design
• Designing dynamic display and video creative
• Design experience with both static and animated display advertising
• Ability to produce high-quality work quickly, iterating towards the best solutions
• Exposure to interactive design (mobile, table, desktop)
• Architecture fundamentals and best practices for web and mobile
• Self-motivated, passionate person with a desire to learn and grow
• Ability to adapt and balance multiple projects in a fast paced environment
