About the Role

This role is responsible for the digital marketing of our cinema films, focusing on digital marketing, social media marketing, and influencer marketing. It involves planning, implementing, and optimizing campaigns across various platforms, managing external agencies, and collaborating with national and international film studios.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the digital marketing of our cinema films with a focus on digital marketing, social media marketing, and influencer marketing
  • Planning, implementation, and optimization of social media and digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest, Reddit, and WhatsApp
  • Management of external agencies and service providers (social media, influencer, creative, web) and close collaboration with media and performance marketing partners
  • Support of trailer, teaser, and content launches as well as further development of social media channels and community management
  • Monitoring, analysis, and reporting of campaign performance, reach, engagement rates, and online sentiments
  • Conception and implementation of creative influencer collaborations, special promotions, and content productions
  • Development of social media strategies and digital assets for German film productions as well as creation of guidelines for cast & crew
  • Close collaboration with national and international film studios, marketing teams, filmmakers, actors, and agencies
  • Contact person for digital topics related to youth protection, platform guidelines, and online communication
  • Responsibility for budget planning, budget control, and administrative processes in the area of digital marketing

Requirements

  • Successfully completed studies in marketing, media, communication sciences, or a comparable qualification
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in digital marketing, social media marketing, or online marketing, ideally in the areas of film, TV, streaming, or entertainment
  • Experience in managing agencies, media partners, and other external service providers
  • Analytical and solution-oriented mindset as well as experience in evaluating digital campaigns and social media metrics
  • Passion for films, cinema, and entertainment as well as a good feel for digital trends, social media, influencer marketing, and target groups
  • Independent, structured, and responsible way of working
  • Team player with high initiative, organizational skills, and hands-on mentality
  • Very good communication and presentation skills in German and English
  • Confident use of Microsoft Office 365, especially PowerPoint and Excel; experience with marketing and analysis tools is an advantage
  • Must possess the necessary immigration permit to work and reside in Germany for the entire duration of employment.
