About the Role
The Comforted Kitty is seeking reliable, responsible cat lovers for flexible, part-time independent contractor cat sitting visits. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently, have a passion for cats, and want to provide peace of mind to pet parents.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home cat sitting visits, including feeding, refreshing water, and cleaning litter boxes.
- Offer playtime, affection, and companionship tailored to each cat's personality.
- Send visit updates and photos to clients via the company app.
- Adhere to detailed client care instructions.
- Perform light house-sitting duties such as bringing in mail and adjusting lights.
- Administer medication if within your experience and comfort level.
- Be available for visits during client travel, including weekends, holidays, mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
- Offer various service types including drop-ins, extended daytime visits, overnights, and 24-hour live-in care.
Requirements
- Experienced with cat care, particularly in a pet sitting capacity.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently in clients' homes.
- Must possess a smartphone with reliable internet and camera.
- Experience administering medication (oral, injections, fluids) is preferred.
- Must have holiday and weekend availability.
