About the Role
The Comforted Kitty is seeking reliable and responsible cat lovers for flexible, part-time cat sitting visits. This independent contractor role allows you to set your availability and service area, providing in-home care for cats while their owners are away. It's an ideal opportunity for those who enjoy independent work, caring for animals, and building relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Feed cats and refresh their water.
- Clean litter boxes.
- Provide playtime, affection, and companionship tailored to each cat's personality.
- Send visit updates and photos via the company app.
- Follow detailed client care instructions.
- Bring in mail or packages.
- Adjust lights, blinds, or manage trash/recycling as requested.
- Administer medication if within your experience and comfort level.
Requirements
- Experienced with cat care, particularly in a pet sitting capacity.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently in clients' homes.
- Must have a smartphone with reliable internet and a camera.
- Experience administering medication (oral, injections, fluids).
- Must have holiday and weekend availability.
