About the Role
The Comforted Kitty is seeking reliable and responsible cat lovers for flexible, part-time cat sitting visits. This independent contractor role allows you to set your availability and service area, providing essential care for cats while their owners are away.
Responsibilities
- Feed cats and refresh water
- Clean litter boxes
- Provide playtime, affection, and companionship
- Send visit updates and photos via app
- Follow detailed client care instructions
- Bring in mail or packages
- Adjust lights, blinds, or trash/recycling as requested
- Administer medication if within experience and comfort level
Requirements
- Experienced with cat care, particularly in a pet sitting capacity
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Strong written communication skills
- Comfortable working independently in clients' homes
- Must have a smartphone with reliable internet and camera
- Experience administering medication (oral, injections, fluids)
- Availability on weekends and holidays
