About the Role

SCCD Ltd is seeking a highly experienced and charismatic Level 5 DET Lecturer to mentor and inspire the next generation of educators. As a "High Consequence" training provider specializing in social mobility and career transformation, you will deliver high-quality sessions, prepare engaging lesson materials, and provide rigorous assessment for Level 5 cohorts.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate 3-hour learning slots via Zoom, ensuring high levels of student engagement and participation.
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans and resources aligned with Pearson/NCFE standards.
• Grade assignments and provide constructive, detailed feedback to ensure learners meet the criteria for QTLS eligibility.
• Foster excellent student relations to maintain high standards of learner retention and satisfaction.
• Use the CRM system to upload learner data, track progress, and maintain accurate attendance records.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of proven experience delivering the Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (DET).
• Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or QTLS (Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills).
• Ability to deliver across a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and Saturday sessions (3-hour blocks).
• Strong ICT skills with the ability to manage virtual classrooms on Zoom and navigate CRM platforms.
• Evidence of maintaining high student retention rates and positive learner outcomes.
• Must be available to deliver 3 hr sessions on Saturday.
