About the Role

Join RBC as a visionary leader shaping the future of banking in a Digital-First era. This role will focus on blending data-driven insights, digital transformation, and human-centric design to deliver seamless, personalized banking experiences across physical, digital and remote channels.

Responsibilities

  • Design and advance best-in-class distribution strategies for Personal Banking, grounded in client needs, economic trends, and market dynamics.
  • Develop and maintain sub-strategies (channel, segment, journey, role) to operationalize the vision and guide execution teams.
  • Lead comprehensive strategic reviews to drive actionable, high-impact recommendations for DPD Leadership.
  • Leverage global peer benchmarks, adjacent industries, fintechs, and emerging distribution models to inform strategy.
  • Analyze client and advisor behaviour and market trends to challenge internal assumptions.
  • Drive forward-thinking insights on distribution strategies, channel evolution, digitization trends, and productivity enhancement.
  • Collaborate with leaders to simplify complex decisions, presenting clear strategic options and trade-offs supported by data-driven insights and scenario planning.
  • Lead projects from ideation to execution, managing stakeholders, timelines, while mentoring Senior Managers to elevate performance and innovation.

Requirements

  • 5 years in corporate strategy, consulting, product strategy, or large-scale transformations within Financial Services.
  • Proven expertise in end-to-end strategy development, from problem structuring to executive recommendations.
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and business modeling, with a knack for simplifying complex data.
  • High-level understanding of Financial Services financial statements.
  • Strategic agility to thrive in ambiguity and drive change.
  • Exceptional communication skills to inspire credibility and collaboration across all levels.
