About the Role
We are looking for experienced Senior Information and Data Security Analysts to join our cross-functional team. The primary goal is to provide and maintain security infrastructure, ensuring stability by following available tools, policies, processes, and procedures while supporting RBC's growth, innovation, and adoption of emerging technologies. This role involves providing oversight, monitoring, and technical enhancements to sensitive data discovery solutions.
Responsibilities
- Perform deep dive troubleshooting of the platform in a complex environment.
- Perform operational enhancements and support.
- Communicate with internal areas at all reporting levels.
- Collaborate with data security teams on operational issues and monitoring control enhancements.
- Perform policy tuning updates by coordinating with team members.
- Ensure process documentation is maintained, reviewed, and updated.
- Undertake problem ownership and project leadership.
- Responsible for planning and controlled execution of releases into the managed environment.
- Improve processes by identifying areas for automation and scripting.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in the infrastructure security domain or IT application security domain.
- Experience running data discovery tools with a focus on sensitive data in structured/unstructured data sets.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes or similar technologies.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux with skills equivalent to an administrator level.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with global deployments of data discovery products and/or cloud-based solutions.
- Industry related certification (e.g., CASP+/CISSP/CISA/CISM).
- Knowledge of financial services business line(s) and associated applications and processes.
- Knowledge of Information Technology standards, methodologies, and audit requirements.
- Experience administering and maintaining Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems.
- Experience with Cloud platforms, SSO, and APIs.
- Knowledge of Shell Scripting.
- Experience with database technologies, mainframes, and Unix.
