About the Role
A well-funded, early-stage B2B SaaS company is seeking a Founding Product Engineer to build an AI-native intelligence platform for strategic procurement. This role offers the opportunity to directly shape the product and customer experience in a fast-moving environment, addressing the high demand for new features from enterprise customers.
Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end features across the full stack: frontend UI, backend services, and LLM integrations.
- Design and implement sophisticated AI agent pipelines, making complexity invisible to end users.
- Prototype quickly, iterate on customer feedback, and ship production-grade features.
- Translate user behavior and feedback into impactful experiences.
- Own features from UX through backend logic to prompt design, with full accountability for outcomes.
- Define the interaction between AI agents and procurement professionals at scale.
- Integrate AI-assisted development into the workflow with clear judgment on its utility.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in full-stack TypeScript (frontend and backend).
- Sharp intuition for working with LLMs — prompting, tuning, and integrating them into real products.
- Strong product taste and creative instincts for user experience.
- High agency and outcome-driven mindset.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity: fast prototyping, sharp instincts, and relentless iteration.
- Genuine excitement about working in-person with the team in Berlin.
- Experience with agentic or multi-step LLM pipeline architectures (nice to have).
- Background in enterprise SaaS, procurement tech, or data-intensive B2B products (nice to have).
