About the Role

Join a fast-moving, Y Combinator-backed conversational AI SaaS startup building an AI voice platform to automate customer call operations at scale for B2C companies. You will work on a product handling thousands of AI-powered phone calls daily, spanning sales, support, and operations, in person alongside a sharp, low-ego team in Berlin. This is a high-ownership, end-to-end engineering role where you will shape core architecture, ship features rapidly, and collaborate directly with customers to solve real problems with elegant product experiences.

Responsibilities

Work closely with customers to understand their challenges and design product experiences that genuinely solve them.
Build scalable backend infrastructure capable of handling thousands of concurrent AI phone calls per day.
Create intuitive, AI-first user experiences on the frontend.
Own high-stakes projects end-to-end — from initial concept through production launch and post-release support.
Contribute to core architectural decisions that shape the direction of the platform.

Requirements

2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Proficiency with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Python.
Strong PostgreSQL experience.
Proven ability to design scalable backend architectures and make meaningful product/architectural decisions.
Experience taking a product from 0 to 1 — you've built something from the ground up.
Ability to own projects end-to-end: concept → production → post-release support.
Strong collaboration skills — you're comfortable working directly with customers and cross-functional teammates to translate problems into solutions.
