About the Role
The Comforted Kitty is seeking reliable, responsible cat lovers for flexible, part-time cat sitting visits. This independent contractor role allows you to set your availability and service area, providing essential care for cats while their owners travel, ensuring peace of mind.
Responsibilities
- Feed cats and refresh water
- Clean litter boxes
- Provide playtime, affection, or companionship
- Send visit updates and photos via app
- Follow client's detailed care instructions
- Bring in mail or packages
- Adjust lights, blinds, or trash/recycling as requested
- Administer medication if within experience and comfort level
Requirements
- Experienced with cat care, particularly in a pet sitting capacity
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Strong written communication skills
- Comfortable working independently in clients' homes
- Must have a smartphone with reliable internet and camera
- Experience administering medication (oral, injections, fluids)
- Availability on weekends and holidays
