About the Role
Join Kïdo International Preschool as a Part-Time After School Teacher, supporting children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. You’ll help create a safe, welcoming, and engaging after-school environment where children can build friendships, explore their interests, complete homework, and enjoy meaningful activities.
Responsibilities
- Build positive relationships with children, understand their interests and needs, and create an inclusive environment where every child feels seen and supported.
- Help children with homework, encourage curiosity, and support their social, emotional, and developmental growth through hands-on experiences and play.
- Guide engaging activities, creative projects, games, outdoor play, and enrichment experiences that encourage teamwork, confidence, and independence.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children in a school, after-school program, camp, or licensed childcare setting preferred.
- A genuine passion for working with elementary-aged children in an active, engaging environment.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
- CPR & First Aid preferred.
- The successful candidate is expected to undergo an enhanced fingerprint-based background check.
