About the Role

As the Operations Manager in our Retail & Consumer business unit, you will play a pivotal role in leading the operational transition to a new, state-of-the-art warehouse facility. This role will manage the warehouse operations of the largest Toll facility in Australia – a 68,000sqm powerhouse of automation, sustainability, and opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day and long-term operational planning to meet KPIs and budget targets.
  • Lead and mentor a new team, fostering a culture of safety, engagement, and performance.
  • Drive process improvements and implement automation initiatives to enhance productivity.
  • Build strong client relationships and deliver outstanding service.
  • Ensure compliance with WH&S, DG, and environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support growth and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Experience or exposure in a 3PL environment – understanding third-party logistics and client service delivery.
  • Experience or exposure to warehouse automation – ability to leverage technology for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Strong background in logistics/supply chain management and warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge of WMS and pick technologies.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Must be entitled to work in Australia.
  • Prepared to undertake pre-employment checks including a criminal history check and medical.
