About the Role

The Senior Regional Consultant will sell MFS Investment products and services through financial intermediaries in the Broker-Dealer, Regional, Independent and Bank channels to achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts sales meetings with financial intermediaries to promote MFS sales and services to maximize territorial and divisional sales.
  • Develops and implements sales strategies aligned with MFS company goals, purpose, and priorities.
  • Demonstrates expertise in sales.
  • Works in partnership with Sales, Client Service, Product, Compliance, and Marketing.
  • Serves as single point of contact and subject matter expert to MFS clients, managing and responding to their needs in a timely manner.
  • Develops and implements relationship strategies with clients.
  • Works with all areas of the MFS Sales team to develop, deliver, and monitor the wholesaler business plan to achieve divisional and company goals.
  • Provides top quality service to accounts to ensure growth and retention of assets and clients.
  • Builds sales by identifying and prospecting new producers and developing new relationships with territorial dealers.
  • Engages with regional top-tier firms to identify opportunities within the region following strategy developed by Sales leadership.
  • Works within MFS/MIL sales and marketing teams to develop a full understanding of the link between regional institutions and their global networks.
  • Manages sales efforts with home office sales representatives to execute territorial business plans with MFS field partners.
  • Ensures all client data in the region/territory is recorded and correct, maintaining and updating CRM systems and storing documentation.
  • Adheres to timely submission of expense reports.
  • Represents MFS at appropriate forums, including client meetings and industry events.
  • Attends conferences or regulatory events as needed and communicates information to wholesalers and home office personnel.
  • Builds strong sales skills and stays abreast of industry trends through interaction with the corporate team, training, continuing education, and sales meetings.
  • Keeps up-to-date on local regulatory framework and changes, ensuring compliance with all internal and external regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Assumes additional duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8-12+ years of related experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, selling, and presentation skills.
  • In-depth product and industry knowledge.
  • Ability to meet extensive travel requirements.
  • Ability to balance personal territory production with management responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish strongly preferred but not required.
  • Position requires FINRA Series 7 and 63 registrations.

Salary/Compensations

  • Base Salary: $95,000.00
  • Eligible for competitive commission pay
