About the Role
As a Team Leader within a Waitrose shop, you will help ensure customers have a positive experience by providing Partner-led service and a passion for food. Your drive to go the extra mile will enhance the Waitrose brand impression, earning customer trust and loyalty while maximizing sales and profit. Applicants must be 18 years or older.
Responsibilities
- Support the shop's management team with managerial tasks and collaborate with other areas to meet customer demand.
- Ensure Partners operate in a safe and legal manner.
- Fulfill online customer orders for delivery.
- Replenish stock, ensuring shelves are full and products are correctly placed.
- Support the wider shop team with tasks such as checkout assistance and managing customer orders.
- Proactively drive the shop's commercial performance and suggest operational improvements.
- Reduce wastage by managing product due diligence and markdowns.
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment through general shopkeeping tasks.
Requirements
- Good people and leadership skills.
- Good understanding of retail and how to maximize commercial success.
- Experience of working in a customer-facing role.
- Good stakeholder management skills when working with third parties and the wider Partnership.
